Following a recruitment drive earlier in 2022 and after a couple of years in the planning, September sees the launch of The Homesafe Academy EngTech Fire Sprinkler Apprenticeship. Ecotect Engineering will play host to 6 apprentices who are following a Homesafe Group prescribed 3-4 year Building Services Engineering programme with Burnley College.
The mixed group of new recruits will work on various aspects of the business on 12 week rotations, with one day per week at College. From a diverse range of backgrounds including plumbing, IT and electrics, the September 2022 cohort has begun with induction training ahead of an introduction to site working, design and contractual support.
The full title of the Apprenticeship is Building Services Engineering (Fire Sprinklers) accredited to EngTech by Pearson.
