Ecotect is a member of the Loss Prevention Council’s third party LPS 1301 scheme for automatic fire sprinklers in residential premises.

Equipment and system configurations are continuously evolving and it is important an accrediting body and its scheme members are on top of their game.

The importance of being accredited

Automatic sprinklers are installed in residential and domestic premises to safeguard life, property and the environment. In order to ensure adequate protection, sprinkler system installers need an appropriate level of technical competency in both design and installation to the cited standard.

The LPS 1301 scheme has been prepared by an expert group to help clients select sprinkler partners. It is important to ensure that sprinkler systems are appropriate for the occupancy and/or hazard class of the premises in which they are installed and that the systems installed will operate reliably in the event of a fire. It has been approved by the LPC (Fire & Security) Board.

Ecotect Engineering are also registered designers and contractors with SMAS, a member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Forum, and accredited with Constructionline.

In addition, we are proud to be an ISO 9001:2015 organisation audited through the prestigious LRQA.

Our continuous improvement journey is important to us.
